Legislative resolution embodying Parliament's opinion on the proposal for a Council and Commission Decision concerning the position to be adopted by the Community within the Association Council set up under the Europe Agreement between the European Communities and their Member States, of the one part, and the Republic of Poland, of the other part, signed in Brussels on 16 December 1991, with regard to the adoption of the Rules necessary for the implementation of Article 63(1)(i), 1(ii) and (2) of that Agreement and Article 8(1)(i), (1)(ii) and (2) of Protocol No. 2 on ECSC products to that Agreement (C4-0187/95 - 5929/95 - 95/0811(CNS))

(Consultation procedure)

The European Parliament,

-having regard to the proposal for a Council and Commission Decision (5929/95 - 95/0811(CNS)),

-having been consulted by the Council pursuant to Articles 87 and 235, in conjunction with Article 228(2), second sentence, and paragraph 3, first subparagraph of the EC Treaty (C4-0187/95),

-having regard to Rule 58 of the Rules of Procedure,

-having regard to the report of the Committee on External Economic Relations and the opinion on the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Security and Defence Policy (A4-0182/95),

1.Approves the position to be adopted;

2.Instructs its President to forward this opinion to the Council and the Commission, the governments and parliaments of the Member States and the Government of Poland.
