The European Parliament,

-having regard to the proposal for a Council Decision COM(94)0341 - 94/0185(CNS),

-having regard to the interim trade agreement initialled by the Commission (COM(94)0341),

-having regard to Article 113 of the EC Treaty,

-having been consulted by the Council pursuant to Article 228(3) first subparagraph of the EC Treaty in conjunction with the Stuttgart Solemn Declaration (C4-0290/95),

-having regard to the report of the Committee on External Economic Relations and the opinion of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Security and Defence Policy (A4-0233/95),

1.Approves the conclusion of the interim agreement;

2.Instructs its President to forward this opinion to the Council, the Commission and to the governments and parliaments of the Member States and of Ukraine.
