The European Parliament,

-having regard to the proposal for a Council and Commission Decision, COM(95)0618 - 12243/95 - 95/0307(CNS),

-having regard to the interim agreement initialled by the Commission (COM(95)0618),

-having regard to Article 113 of the EC Treaty,

-having been consulted by the Council pursuant to Article 228(2), first sentence, and (3), first subparagraph, of the EC Treaty (C4-0577/95),

-having regard to Rule 90(7) of its Rules of Procedure,

-having been consulted by the Council pursuant to Article 228(2), first sentence, and (3), first subparagraph, of the EC Treaty (C4-0577/95),

-having regard to the report of the Committee on External Economic Relations

(A4-0321/95),

1.Approves the conclusion of the interim agreement;

2.Instructs its President to forward this opinion to the Council, the Commission and the governments of the Member States and the State of Israel.
