Today the first reaction on letters sent to CIS foreign ministers was received. Mrs. Irina Orylbaeva, chief of department of Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, has called from Bishkek to our office in Moscow. She told, that her chief - Roza Otunbaeva, foreign minister of Kyrgyzstan - is interrested very much for our initiative. She asked us to send as much documents as possible - both about the Tribunal and Radical Party. I proposed to send also properly the text of Tribunal's draft statute and she was very glad, because they don't have it (!). Today we hand over a big packet to Kyrgyz embassy in Moscow and I hope it will be tomorrow in Bishkek. They were very interrested also about Agora, because as it seems they stay in a sort of information vacuum.
Mrs. Orylbaeva told also that they support the idea of tribunal but as far as she knows, the main problem is money.
Therefore I think that Kyrgyzstan could express its support in New York. Probably it could be useful to meet their representative there?
