Among 14 observed newspapers in Moscow only two - "Nezavisimaja Gazeta" and "Segodjna" - gave today at least some information about last commissioners' appointments. The information given in NG you can read here in Conferenza Segreteria in previous message by Mamuka.

What concerns "Segodnja", it published the article named "Portfolios of EC commissioners are distributed. Sir Leon Brittan is not satisfied by his appointment" on the page 5 with a photo of Brittan. Concerning Italy it is stated only, that "Emma Bonino was appointed only in the last minute and her appointment almost caused the regular governmental crisis in the country". It seams a little strange, that Izvestija, the most serious newspaper in the country, didn't informed about the event, but I suppose they prepare to do it tomorrow by more detailed way.
