but you have probably seen that Russia, and Bielorussia signed the draft resolution tabled by Italy, Canada, australia etc..... which is for me quite a surprise because I would have expected that russia will be favourable to the US resolution.....

another very surprising thing happened yesterday at the general counsel when the italian proposal to introduce in the agenda of the UN general assembly, and particularly to the third commission -the one dealing with human rights) was put to vote: among the 17 countries which voted in favour there was Russia, ucraina, as you saww in the note marino wrote this morning in this conference......

in any case: as far as the International Criminal Court is concerned: the decision will take place sometimes early next week. so in a very short time....

as far as Moratoria on death sentence : probably tomorrow the decision taken yesterday by the General Council will go tomorrow to general assembly I am afraid with vote. If we succeed in passing this vote, the third commission will examine this item some times beginnng november 17th,
