Yesterday we had meeting with vice admiral Boris Kozhin, former commander of Ukrainian Navy, now member of Ukrainian Supreme Rada (Ruh faction). If you remember, he was one of the first Ukrainian MPs signed our ICC appeal.
He is quite sympatic, open person. In spite of being ethnic Russian (he speaks still very bad Ukrainian), he is member of Ruh faction (the main national democratic party here) and was elected in Ivano-Frankivsk (Western region). In fact he is in some sense a symbol of Ukrainian independence, being commander of Navy at the time of conflict with Russia on question of Black Sea Fleet.
He seems to be limitedly useful. He didn't join the party, the only reason - he is a military officer and according the Ukrainian laws he can't be a member of organization named "a party", even although he understands that we are transnational and transparty.
He told however that he will be glad to help us whenever it will be necessery, collecting signatures in parliament, distributing there our materials, etc. As he did already with our ICC appeal.
