The General Congress will take place in Rome on February 24, in the morning; the Congress wil be held from the afternoon of the same day to the 26. The participants should arrive in Rome on the 23 and leave from Rome on the 27.

According to the Statute of the party, the General Council must decide the draft agenda of the Congress. In order to guarrantee the presence of the majority of its members, the party will try to cover part of their travelling expenses.

Due to the well known economical situation of the party, it will not be possible to pay for the trips and staying in Rome for other persons. However, we will try to help the members of the party to obtain the eventually necessary visas.

The economical limits don't allow us to provide the simultaneous translation into many languages. It will be provided from and into Italian, Russian, French and English.

The members of the party for 1994 will be informed about the convocation of the Congress through a special issue of the agency "Transnational", that has to be sent also to all the members of the Parliaments (editor: Paolo Pietrosanti; coordinator for the mailing: Gianni Betto).

The members of the General Council will receive a telegram about its official convocation (Antonio Stango will provide the text; it will be sent from Rome only to the Italian members, from Moscow to the members in CIS and Baltic countries and so on).
