Second step will be to ask Russian jornalists, who are in close relationship with officials in Grozny and who knows, how is possible to reach Grozny, because in official way it's absolutely impossible. My opinion is, that now it is technically impossible. It's clear, that Emma can't go alone or even with one person. Now is very hard to reach Grozny not for the group, but even for experienced one persone.
And in general, I think, that is better, if Emma will try to do something in Western Europe, then here. Let's see, what is opinion of Nikolj.
Nobody reacted, when Nikolaj wrote, that he thinks, that is necessary to go to grozny and he's ready to do it. I wrote, that it's danger and anybody knows, that it's so, but it doesn't mean, that he shouldn't go. Also now, I think, that would be better if first Nikolaj should do it for several reasons: he can do it immediately, he has more chance then Emma to reach, then he could inform us about possibilities of Emma's trip.
Here is also answer on Antonio's question to find Kovalev. Sergei Kovalev told, that he'll stay in Grozny before this problem will not be solve in any way. So, we can find him only in Grozny.
Dear Antonio, I think, you remember, how we (you and me) tried to connect with Kovalev in Moscow, but without success. It's almost impossible to get him even with "Kremlin telphone" I tried to do it from the office of Anatoli Pristavkin. He's too busy. What about Helsinki group and Memorial, there isn't problem, we'll do it.

I think all you know from TV news and newspapers about yesterday's TV intervention of Eltsin, when he told, that air forces and artillery willn't bomb Grozny for "human" reasons: to prevent victims among civilianc. So, this morning air forces started bombing of Grozny, infantry started storm (it was reported by Liberty and BBC) a lot of dwellings were destroyed...
