Of course it could be great to go there with 3 Euro-MP and 3-Italian. But it could be great also to go at least with 1 Euro-MP (Marco) and 1 Commissioner EU (Emma). But even just 3 Radicals from differenet countries go there, even in this case we could be the first foreign politicians, observers (not journalists), who came to that city. But even for this we apparently can't find money... Or I am wrong? That's sad, very sad. It is difficult for me to say such words, because obviously we can't get this money here, in our country (at least I don't see for the moment any possibility): but we must get money, this is really a key moment, believe me.

Nevertheless, untill our mission in Chechnya is still unclear, some political steps I consider possible, useful and necessary. (All what I write now, is just an invitation to common realizing, what and how to do better).

I mean two non-violent Gandhi-style actions, corresponding with Radical historical methods.

1. Collective or individual conscientious objection to be drafted into Russian Army, untill the bloodshed in Chechnya is going on. This should be accompanied by declaration (press conference?) and appeal to all Russian youngsters to object military service as protest against henocide and colonial war in Chechnya (or something like that, the exact formula will be written later). The printing of an amount of leaflets with conscientious objection appeal and demonstrative distribution in front of Military Recruitment Offices in different cities (with Soldiers' Mothers Committee and Youth Anti-Militarist Committee) are needed in this case. As a conscientious objector in 1984, I of course will join this action, but I can't be a formal initiator of this, since I do not face the draft now. But it will be not a big problem to find such a conscientious objector(s), I hope.

2. The quick organized urgent direct-action: demonstration in front of President's Administration or Defence Ministry with CHAINING to the doors of this office. This I would like to do with 2-4 other Radicals and/or members of Youth Anti-Militarist Committee. But in this case of course I prefer to have the name and symbol of the Radical Party. The punishment for such a demonstrative violation of law and order will be in this case up to 15 days of prison or money punishment (you always have a choice). Maybe also somebody from Italy could join us here for it? That would be wonderful!
