(Moscow, July 21, 1995, 2:00 AM) - Less then one hour ago, Sergej VORONTSOV, an associate of the Moscow office of the Radical Party and one of the active members of the Antimilitarist Radical Association (A.R.A.) was attacked and seriously beaten by five unknown persons near metro station "Kolomenskaja" when he returned home after his work in the office of the party. The hooligans were apparently waiting for Sergej in few steps from the metro exit. They begun to beat him in silence, without speaking anything. Neither money, not walkman player weren't taken by aggressors.

The assault occured in presense of four policemen equipped by machine guns. They didn't make any attempt to detain hooligans, saying only to them: "Enough, enough, guys..."

All in his blood with broken face, Sergej managed to take taxi and reached home.

The respective formal actions will be undertaken tomorrow morning.
