Today we have determined time and place for the demonstration. It will take place on March 10th, at 2.00 PM Moscow time in front of Chinese embassy on Druzhby street, 4.

We decided to hold the action as a sort of picketing, not as a rally with tribune and radio amplification, since the place where the embassy looks isolated enough, there will be no occasional by-passers and the expected amount of demonstrators (about 30-50 persons) will not make reasonable radio amplification (which costs about $500 for a small 400 Watt amplifier and $650 for a 1000 Watt amplifier).

Since manifestation is scheduled on 2.00 PM, Sunday we plan to send letters to the Radicals of other cities, where theoretically it is possible to arrive by train or bus from and leave Moscow at the same evening. Such a mailing, even demanding additional expenses (the exact cost will be calculated tomorrow and included into March preventive budget), is supposed to be useful because it is one of the not very often occasions when we have possibility to engage Radicals from other cities for a concrete action.

The formal request for manifestation should be submitted not before February 24 and not later than February 29, thus on Monday, February 26 we are going to table it.

We are also about to organize a news conference on the Tibetan campaign with presentation of all the materials, lists of adhesions etc. approximately on Tuesday, March 5. The exact date and time depends from Russian American Press & Information Center where we used to hold news conferences. Among participants are supposed Navang Rabgyal, Karakys Arakchaa, probably somebody among Duma members, Olga and me.

On Saturday, February 24 in the office on Trubnaja is scheduled the reunion of Moscow activists especially for organizing the action on March 10.
