Dear Olivier,

It was so nice meeting you very briefly during a dinner reception at Hotel Tibet recently. Subsequently Tempa Tsering has told me all about as to how you have been involved with various activities in support of Tibet and Tibetans in the past years. Therefore, first of all I wish to say a very big thank you to you for every thing that you have been doing for our cause and I am quite sure that you will continue to support us till we regain our ultimate goal which we all believe is not very far away.

I also thank you very much for your E-Mail message of 10th September regarding our request for the continuation of EU financial assistance for various TR projects. We deeply appreciate the appropriate actions that you have taken in this connection and hopefully await more good news after September 16.
