Dear Olivier,

This is Thubten Samdup from Montreal, Canada. You may recall that we met very briefly in Bonn during the Conference. I must say that I am very impressed with the work that you and your collegues do and follow it religiously. As always, I am always at your service if there is anything I can do from this end.

My main purpose for writing this letter to you today is to introduce to you someone who has been working very closely with me for the last couple of years. Her work mainly deals with Tibetan legal and strategical research work. She has done some remarkable work which has been presented to His Holiness, the cabinet and Samdhong Rinpoche and they have all encouraged her to continue the work. However, due to lack of financial resources, she has had to stop her work temporarily.

If you are interested in corresponding with her, I'll be very happy to ask her to get in touch with you. Her name is Claudia Johnston and she lives in Victoria, BC, Canada.

Once again, thank you for all the work you're doing on behalf of the Tibetan people.
