I attended the open day of the European Institutions at Brussels last Saturday, May 10. At the European Parliament I spoke with the representatives of the Radical Party and among the issues that I found exposed was that of the need of a common working language for European Organisations.
It was stated that the Radical Party has an agreement with the International Esperanto Association (I'm not sure that is the exact name of the institution) and has a defended the adoption of Esperanto as a universal language.
I happen to know a lot about european languages and speak most of the languages of the EU. I would like to have the address and telephone number of this Esperanto Association in Brussels in order to contact them, get more acquainted with the Esperanto movement and eventually start learning that language.
Due to my facility in learn new languages and even to understand "dead" languages like Latin and ancient Greek or medieval versions of the actual european languages, I feel I am really in a position to judge if it is easy enough to rapidly replace other working languages within the EU.
I thank you for this opportunity and hope to contact the Radical Party concerning other issues that it defends.
