Actually we use Glasnet for having access to Internet and to e-mail within "8-bits space" of ex USSR. This network is member of APC (like IGC, Greennet, Comlink etc.) It is not so expensive like other Internet providers in Moscow but instead the quality of work is rather poor. So, when we telnet from there to Agora (in fact, we do it) we have two problems:
1) it is very slowly;
2) no upload protocol except ASCII works, so we can only download files from Agora but not upload.
To upload files we connect with Agora via Sprint. In this case vice versa it is impossible to download files by no way except ASCII. I don't why this strange situation exists, but it is matter of fact. Yet one year ago when Sprint stopped to work normally, we try to solve the problem or at least to understand why it happenes. We contacted Agora, Sprint and Glasnet staff and nobody could help us. Here we are...
