Dear Mr. Atzori,
My name is Lewis Harper and I run the Washington D.C. office of the Laogai Reserach Foundation, which Harry Wu founded in 1992. You can reach me directly by phone at 202-508-8215, by fax at 202-955-5486 or by e-mail (laogai@igc.org).
I look forward to discussing with you the common initiatives you mentioned in your recent e-mail. In the meantime, you might want to look at our new and constantly improving site on the World Wide Web (www.laogai.org). It contains many of our special reports, including the most recent, which uncovered three separate cases of Chinese companies using forced labor to produce goods for export.
Mr. Wu wants Mr. Dupis to know that he is well and keeping very busy. The whole Foundation, in fact, is working hard to process the constant requests for information about the Laogai that come in to this office. If you send us your mailing address, we will be happy to send you our latest materials and make sure you receive our newsletter regularly.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Lewis Harper
