Dear friends,

here next two amendments to the budget of the European Union I have deposed with my friend Dell'Alba. With the support of the EPP, the liberal, the Union for Europe and the Greens Group those amendments were voted by the Foreign Affairs Committee (the socialists and the communists voted against). In the Budget Committee, the EPP don't renew his support on the second and most important (the one of the delegation). But Karl Habsburg-Lothringen from the EPP will depose an emendment for the vote in the plenary and we will try to find other MPs to support it. But wining the vote will be difficult because we have to get a absolute majority. I will obviously let you know as soon as the vote will take place.

Justification:

The European Parliament having taken position in favour of the defense of the human rights in East Turkestan and Inner Mongolia, it is important, to have a coherent action, to make clear that those credits are allowing to them.

Commentary

Add the following comment:

"This budget line is destined to finance, at the appropriate time, of the delegations in the Autonomous Regions of the People Republic of China in East Turkestan (Xinyang), notably in Urumqui, in Tibet eu savoir eu Lhassa, and in Inner Mongolia notably in Hohhot".

Justification:

Besides its presence in the People Republic of China' capital, the Commission is represented by a delegation in the Hong Kong Autonomous Region. If the principle of the presence of the delegations of the Commission in the Autonomous Regions is mutually accepted, it's important to open also representations in the Autonomous Regions of East Turkestan (Xinjyang), notably in Urumqui, of Tibet, notably in Lhassa, and of Inner Mongolia notably eu Hohhot.
