Dear Olivier,

The Nobel decision was very disappointing. I really thought that this would be the year that the Committee would decide to focus its very bright spotlight on the democracy movement in China by presenting the Prize to Wei Jingsheng.

It certainly would have greatly helped the cause of world peace.

Although initially tremendously discouraged, it quickly became . obvious that it Wei finds the strength to continue his fight, we can do no less than to help as best we can.

But how?
