Dear Mr. Muivah,

unfortunatelly I have to inform you that last week the efforts of the Parliamentary groups EPP and ARE and especially of Mr. Karl Habsburg-Lothringen and Olivier Dupuis have been defeated in the vote on putting the issue of Nagaland on the agenda of the last session of the European Parliament.

However, although the European Parliament has decided not to discuss the situation in your country now, Mr. Dupuis would like to assure you that the fight will continue.

I would like to thank you also for the materials you have sent to us during this weekend.

In order to reinforce the involvment of other MEPs, we would deeply appreciate reports from Human Rights Organizations, especially Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International.
