Dear Olivier,

after ample discussion with Adam Smith, Marco Cappato and several other representatives of organisations currently participating in our coalition, we have finalised the text of the 'declaration'. Organisations wishing to join the 'Global Coalition for Alternatives to the Drug War', can do so by signing this declaration.

I'm sending you this to ask for your final approval of the text, and to confirm that TRP will indeed join the coalition.

Member organisations will be invited separately to participate in or endorse the 'Global Days against the Drug War'. We have separated joining the coalition, from participation in the 'Global Days', to allow a broad spectrum of movements to join the coalition, without them having to feel compelled to endorse events they have little control over.
