Dear friends,

It's almost the end of the 12th Int. Conference on AIDS in Geneva. I am happy that this very morning at 11am-ish, an Irish woman addict with HIV disease will be the first drug-user since my beloved husband John to addres the entire conference on the rights and needs of addicts. It hits out at prohibition strongly - wonder who wrote the speech?!!

I am looking forward to meeting you again in Zurich, Francois; and Judith (please forward this e-mail to her). Has there been much response to the e-mail I sent out requesting other people's ideas regarding the planning of the ICRP?

Let me know asap. It's 9am Italian and Swiss time, 3am New York time on the 3rd July. Phil, It would be good if you could state your ideas to me that we spoke of in NYC 3 weeks ago - 10th June - you were quite passionate about an issue. We should see/hear it officially so as not to mess up ideologically in any way. I have a press pass at this conference which means I have access to the e-mail system till you arrive at TLC today. If you can't do it that way, please e-mail to Francois if you haven't done so already.
