Thank you for contacting me regarding the situation of the Albanian population in the province of Kosovo. I appreciate hearing your views.

Serbian aggression in the former Yugoslavia cannot be ignored. The recent massacres of Albanians in Kosovo are extremely disturbing and reminiscent of the war in Bosnia. The Clinton administration has once again imposed sanctions in an effort to force Yugoslavian President Slobodan Milosevic to end his campaign of violence and to enter into negotiations with the Kosovars.
