Massimo Caro!
Before signing this Address, I strongly recommend one small editorial
amendment.
Below is the phrase, which BbI3bIBAET COMHEHbE:
>We must overthrow the National-Communist regime of Belgrade.
First, Neither yourself, nor myself are going to overthtrow president Milosevich and his National-Communist regime in Belgrad. You have your old trauma. I am 78+ years old. I don't think, your radical comrades-in-arms are going to Yugoslavia with the same purpose. The phrase above is too militant and, thus, it looks misleading.
Second, If I am not wrong, Milosevich was elected, and his regime was chosen by majority of the Serbs. It is in their competence to decide, whether to tolerate THEIR president and their present regime, or to remove him and to change that regime. The above phrase can be perceived as the call for intervention.
Third, International Tribunal may, in my opinion, indict the person Milosevich, for his crimes, but not the President of Yugoslavia. After WW-2 was over, only those German nationals have been indicted, who personally commited crimes.
I would strongly recommend to amend the above phrase: INSTEAD OF "WE MUST OVERTHROW..." IT SHOULD BE READ: "THE NATIONAL-COMMUNIST REGIME IN BELGRADE MUST BE OVERTHROWN".
With such an amendment, I am ready to sign it. If you cannot agree with me, I am ready to continue a discussion. >IYuri.===================================
