The United Nations Office for Drug Control and Crime Prevention (UN/ODCCP) Brussels presents its compliments to Mr. Olivier Dupuis, Member and would like to inform that, in line with the decision adopted by the Commission on Narcotic Drugs at its resumed 40th session in December 1997, our office has been open, as a component of the United Nations Office in Brussels, effective I September 1998 in order to strengthen the working relationship between ODCCP and the European Institutions. Dr. Sandro Calvani, former UNDCP Representative in Bolivia and the Caribbean, has been appointed as Head of the Office.

We would be grateful for you to add our office to your address list and keep us informed of relevant activities in the fields of prevention and control of narco trafficking and drug abuse, organized crime, terrorism, illicit traffick of human beings and money laundering.

The ODCCP will be very glad to contribute to Member Countries' and European Institutions in the above-mentioned fields of interest with the relevant know-how and experience of the United Nations System.
