Let me share with all of you [us] beautiful people something that my father told when I was 4 or 5 years old that hit me hard, so hard that it has always been, always is, al will be with me.

Word War II was just over and my father (Officer in the U.S. Army - North Africa & "Liberated Italy" [Alliead HQ Bari]) hand retorned home. I, at my tendeder age, I, worried aand confused, awquardly asked him about the Death Penalty.

This is what he told me, if not verbatim, very close to his very words.

"Life is a gift. Every INDIVIDUAL humabn being is UNIQUE . She/he is not reproducable[cloning was not yet à la page !], therefore, NOBODY, not even, or better still, par force majeur Goverments/States has/(have) the the right to

take the life of another human being"
