Dear Madam,

we are writing this letter to you, few weeks before your country takes the presidency of the European Union, to raise a problem by which we are very concerned and that, unfortunately, has not been adequately illustrated neither by the media nor by governments.

As you certainly know Albin Kurti, on of the leaders of the Students Union of Kosovo and spokesman to Adem Demaqi, the former political representative of the KLA, and his colleague Adil Vokrri have been arrested by the serbian police together with other relatives on 28 April 1999.

The reports concerning the brutality of the arrest, the fact that, so far, no news concerning their whereabout or their conditions have been made available and the recent assassination of Mr Agami by the serbian forces, deeply worry us.

We would be very gratefull to you for any kind of initiatives you and your government could undertake in order to find him and to allow him to come to Finland or another European Union country.
