Dear Ms. Niinimaa-Keppo,

we have received your e-mail concerning political prisoners in Georgia and the hunger strike of Dato Bichashvili. We would like to undertake some initiative to support his demands and to bring to the attention of the international community the situation in Georgia, particularly concerning political prisoners.

Therefore, we would appreciate if you could provide us with further concrete information on your findings you recently made in Tbilisi and the case of Mr. Bichashvili and Mr. Kvirtiya (and others, of course). Moreover, if possible, some direct contacts to the organisations or individuals in the region would be also very helpful to us.
