With reference to your letter dated July 15, 1999, I would like to inform you that the Slovak Republic is in the process of the restatement of the Slovak internal law. This restatement is the condition for the ratification of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court, signed by the Slovak Republic in December 23, 1998.

We suppose that the process of the restatement of internal law will be finished by the end of the year 2000.
