my name is Sergio Pisanu, I am Italian and I have been living in London for

the past 10 years. I am not sure whether in which language i should write,

but since your site is in English, I thought I'd use English too.

The reason why I am writing is that I am thinking of joining TRP but there

are a couple of questions that I wish to ask. I understand what you mean

when you say that people who agrees with only one of the issues you fight

for should join anyway. I agree with that. I agree with all the issue that

you talk about on your site. I have been a member of Amnesty International

for few years, so I couldn't agree more on issue regarding Tibet, China,

death penalty etc.

However, I was a bit concerned by the total lack, both on the site and on

Emma Bonino site of mention about the following issues:

the sales of weapons to countries where human rights are violated;

globilisation and US operate in Centre America, Iraq;

basically, the main point which has so far prevented me from joining you is

that I am not at all sure that you condemn some of the issues that i care a

lot for and that non governmental organisation fight for.

How liberal is TRP?

When you say that the state power should be limited to the minimum are you

proposing a system similar to the one of the US, where basic needs such as

education, health and pension are privatised?

In conclusion, I wish to thank you for everything the Radical Party has done

in the past and is trying to achieve now. I am a life long admirer of Marco

Pannella and Emma Bonino and I will most certainly vote for them at the

coming election on the 16th of April.

I would therefore be most grateful to you if you could help me to clear my

mind from the doubts mentioned above.
