This is to inform you that on July 2000, the Economic and Social Council, at its regular substantive session, adotped the folowing recommendation of the Committee on Non-Governmental Organizations pertaining to your organization.

In accordance with paragraph 56 of ECOSOC resolution 1996/31, the Committee on Non-Governmental Organizations decides:

a) bearing in mind Part II of Report/2000/88, invites the Transnational Radical Party to submit a comprehensive response by 16 September 2000 o the Committee' recommendation on the suspension of its consultative status.

Please note that the Committee also requested the Economic and Social Council also authorized the Committee to hold a resumed session during the week of 25 September in order to consider your consider your organization's response. You will be informed of the exact date in due course.
