Sergej Popov, member of the State Duma, who in the Summer presented the first question to Foreign Affairs Minster on our case, today refused to sign the appeal to ECOSOC. The reasons: perhaps Russian government is fully wrong with its demarche against TRP in UN, however you do violate principle of territorial integrity of Russia by giving the floor to a representative of Chechen separatists, that's why I simply cannot sign your appeal.

Popov promissed to fax us tomorrow his statement with the above expressed position.
