Dear Paolo,

Thank you for your call this morning and the message that was delieverd to me by my roommate.

I arrived in Canada on August 21 2000 for graduate studies at Memorial University of Newfoundland. Before I left China, my mother was put into a mental hospital due to her strong belief of Falun Gong and Falun Dafa. I visited her in June and found that mother was tied to the bed and bloody scars in her neck and wrists. My father was put into Lao Dong Yue jail in Hangzhou, Zhejiang China.

I called back to China on September 12 and got to know that mother was persecuted to death because she was denied food and given unknown injection while father was still in jail.

I have now lost the financial resource because my parents are the main sponsor for my stuides in Canada. So I have to ask for refugee claim in Canada and my file had been referred to the Immigration and Refugee Board in Ottawa. My plan is that once I am granted the refugee status by the Canadian government, I will release my story to the whole world and let the world know how cruel the Chinese government persecuted Falun Gong practitioners.
