For the kind attention of H.H. P.K. Singh
Ambassador of India
Brussels, 22 December 2000
Dear Sir,
I am writing you concerning the project of the Italian Radio Radicale (a media close to the Transnational Radical Party of which I am the secretary general) to broadcast, without any intermediation, the entire public works (audio and video) of the Parliament of your Country through its web-site. The Radio is already broadcasting through Internet the works of the Italian Parliament ( HYPERLINK "http://www.radioradicale.it/" www.radioradicale.it ) and will soon broadcast the works of the European Parliament.
For over 20 years now Radio Radicale has been offering all Italian citizens a direct access to the works of the Italian institutions, Parliament, Government and most important trials, in order to allow the citizens to know and to decide.
The ambition of Radio Radicale is now to enlarge this "real time information" and "information without any kind of filter" about the functions, debates and decisions of other institutions.
As far as India is concerned we believe that it is very important that the debates of the Parliament of the biggest democracy in the world be known by as many people as possible.
I would be very glad if you could let me know how we could proceed in order to realize this project and, in a first step, if it would be possible to have some practical information on the way the works of the Parliament of your Country are audio and video registred.
I seize this opportunity to wish you, your dear and all your staff, a happy New Year.
Best regards,
Olivier Dupuis
