CISA - CENTRE FOR INFORMATION ON STERILISATION AND ABORTION

In 1975 all the leaders of CISA were arrested, including Adele Faccio, Emma Bonino and Dr. Faccio. Even Radical Secretary Gianfranco Spadaccia was subsequently arrested for his declaration of co-responsibility in CISA's activities. This is how a public debate was opened which led in 1978 to the legalisation of abortion.
