To set up an African Group of Members of Parliament who could form an African Task Force:
* to monitor democratic developments in Africa
* to function as a body to exchange views and discuss experiences and cooperate with the Global Coalition for Africa
* to prepare input of Parlamentarians in the conomic, policy-making of African nations (especially regarding issues of debt and adjustement policies)
* to be called upon to monitor the elation process from assessment of poitical conditions, to registration through ballotting and counting.
PGA will seek to actively form a group of Parlamentarians who can pursue these activities. Furthermore, a budget will be prepared and it should be discussed how adequate funding for these activities can be secured.
