Pavel Panfilov, elected for the second time as deputy of the people of the Republic of Estonia, President of the "Collaboration and Equal Rights" division, former official of the Komosomol and the former Communist Party:

This is why I have joined".

Aleksandr Aleksandrov, aged 79, a mathemetician from St. Petersburg, and a member of the Academy of Science, has written to us saying: "When I spoke recently at a conference on European collaboration organized by the Academy of the Lincei in Rome, I said: scientists must not dedicate themselves to military technology, because he who builds a weapon prepares death. And this is a very grave sin. I am against killing, especially when condoned by the state. I spoke of the need to abolish the death penalty thirty years ago, when I was a member of the Supreme Soviet. I am joining the Radical Party to uphold these same ideas".
