I decided to join the radical party because it is the only force committed to upholding ethical and political values which are extremely real, but which obsolete schemes prevent people from seeing.

They are values that are based on a modern vision of Italy which is seen as part of a vaster reality: the reality of the humanity we live in, which, after the end of the cold war, needs to conceive a new policy.

A policy where 20% of the world population can no longer continue using 80% of the world's resources and considering the problems of that 80% as alien to its individual destinies.

The fact of creating a transnational party where different conflict and interests are reconciled in the name of human rights and development may seem a utopian decision. But time will prove it is a necessary step, and that is why I'm joining the radical party.
