ABSTRACT: Ripa di Meana says he is joining the party "to insure himself against the banality and sterility of the political action in our country"
(1994 - IL QUOTIDIANO RADICALE, 29 October 1993)
The value of a party can be measured on the quality of two results, not on the quantity of votes. The two criteria of choice are on the one hand the substance, frequency and effectiveness of a political proposal, on the other hand the unique quality of the proposal itself.
From this point of view it must be acknowledged that under Marco Pannella's leadership the radical party has obtained important results.
The reason to confirm one's membership to the radical party for 1994 is to insure oneself against the banality and sterility of the political action in our country.
