ABSTRACT: Joins the Radical Party to struggle "for democracy", "with the means of democracy", to uphold civil rights, "liberties" and "citizens' fundamental guaranties". "Because the revolution of the rule of law is in the hands of each radical".

(1994 - IL QUOTIDIANO RADICALE, 11 November 1993)

The rule of law is the fundamental issue all over the world. The right to life and the right to the integrity of the human being are stifled and violated, as are the liberties and fundamental guaranties of the citizens. This happens every day in Italy and in the world. Death penalty, wars, rape, special prisons and torture. All this takes place in the name of higher values, in fact for the touted defense of the rights of the community. There's no worse violence than the person who acts "for your sake": "that is when fundamentalism, authoritarian state and ethical state are operating".

Against the death penalty in the world, for the ad hoc tribunal against warcrimes in the former Yugoslavia. But also: abolition of the special laws in our country, for the creation of certain rules restoring inviolable guaranties for the freedom of its citizens. So that each citizen may be responsible for himself and for his actions, but also so that each magistrate and each judge be responsible for any violation of the rights of the citizens. So that fair laws be applied whenever an injustice or a scandal are denounced. So that democracy may be upheld (or reinstated when it is lacking) always with the means of democracy; so that each individual have the same rights that are recognized to the community (the States commit so many crimes in the name of the community...)

This is what I intend to do with the Radical Party, knowing that I will be given nothing and that I will have to delegate nothing, because the revolution of the rule of law is in the hands of each radical.
