ABSTRACT: Statements by George Wald, Slavko Perovic, Emilio Fede
(1994 - IL QUOTIDIANO RADICALE, 12 November 1993)
Georg Wald
Nobel Prize for Medicine 1967
I have known the radical party for a long time, every since it launched the campaign on world hunger. I have since followed its initiatives, and despite the fact that living in the United States limits my possibility of supporting it, my enrolment for 1994 wants to be an encouragement to carry on. A confirmation, in these years in which the force of weapons seems to stifle reason, that I trust mankind in spite of everything.
Slavko Perovic
Leader of the Liberal Alliance of Montenegro
I will join the Transnational Radical Party also for next year because I approve of its political program, and because I see it as an excellent opportunity of internationalizing the problem of Montenegro.
Emilio Fede
Director of TG4
I have supported the Radical Party for a long time, since I was director of the TG1 (and I was sometimes attacked and sometimes approved by the radicals themselves).
I have shared in their important political moments and civil campaigns, which Pannella and his comrades must be given credit for. Those were perhaps the only true campaigns organized to defend the rights that are violated in our society. For respect of human dignity.
A new publication is on sale, called "HERE WE ARE AGAIN!". Welcome back, and many wishes for a growing success.
Regardless of the different political opinions, the radicals have been and remain the promoters of many battles. Unfortunately, not all have been successful. I remember one especially: the defense of Enzo Tortora, which raised legitimate doubts about an excessive concern for civil rights. But the radicals are more than Tortora. They are also the honesty of their commitments, proven by the fact that they have never been implicated in the greatest scandal of the country: corruption.
