An incredible precedent has been created by Elena Raskevich, judge of Noginsk city court who passed justification verdict to Vadim Hesse, member of the Anti-militarist Radical Association. Let's remind, Hesse has been arrested on January 26, 1996 for "evading the regular draft to the military service" according the article 80 of Russian Criminal Code. He motivated refusal to serve in the army by his political convictions which does not give him right to hold weapons in his arms.

In the end, the court recognized Vadim Hesse's right on alternative service.
