OF THE ANTI-MILITARIST RADICAL ASSOCIATION

We come together in order to take some important decisions:

- on our actions in the perspectives of transition to the

professional army by the 2000;

- on possibility to organize an all-Russian referendum on the

series of laws to provide military reform;

- on informing young Russian citizens about their constitutional

right to refuse military service on reasons of conscience;

- on elaborating political project of the Association.

In the Congress will participate Olivier Dupuis, member of

European Parliament and secretary of the Transnational Radical

Party.

Our doors are open: we welcome all those ready to participate in

nonviolent civil battles for Law and Freedom, against war and

militarism!

For self-financing of the Congress, there is provided

recommended registration fee 5,000 rubles.

15.00 - 19.00

Reports: "War in Chechnya: possible role of Radicals in the

framework of wide anti-war front", "Alternative civilian

service: what law, what initiatives?", "Conscientious objectors

struggling for their rights", "Transition to the professional

army in the context of president Yeltsin's decree: possible

Radicals' initiatives", "Hypothesis of referendum on military

laws: a political project of ARA for the next year?"

Discussing and voting the General Motion and special motions (if

any). Voting the amendments to the Statute (if any). Election of

Auditors, General Council.

Closing the work.
