Delighted with word of the street referendum. I remember GUM well from 1978 when I was with a group of Americans demonstrating in Moscow and at the White House for U.S. / Soviet action (instead of endless words) on disarmament. I was on the Moscow end and GUM was just off to one side, as you know, of the Square where we tried to demonstrate.
