Next Saturday, on September 18, an Assembly of radicals of Moscow and Moscow region will take place in Moscow, with participation of members and adherents of the Transnational Radical Party, of the Antimilitarist Radical Association (ARA) and Club Khramov - an association for libertarian reforms.

The Assembly is to be held in Sakharov Museum and Public Centre (Zemlyanoi val, 57 - 6; Kurskaya or Chkalovskaya metro stations). It begins at 2:00 p.m., registration of participants starts at 1:00 p.m.

Its agenda includes discussion of the petition campaign "The third millennium without conscription slavery" - its goal is to collect 50.000 signatures of Russian citizens under the petition to the Federal Assembly, calling to abolish the compulsory military service and to pass to remanning the Armed Forces on an entirely professional basis; as well as the discussion of the recent events in Moscow and a real danger of the civil freedoms constriction and a police regime establishment in Russia.
