Moscow, September 6, 1999 - Militants of the Transnational Radical Party and the Antimilitarist Radical Association (ARA) took part in the festival "Unofficial Moscow", organized by the public movement "Moscow alternative" led by Sergei Kirienko.
On September 3, radicals were collecting singatures under the petition "The third millennium without conscription slavery" at the concert "Rock - Alternativa" in Moscow Youth Palace. They managed to collect as many as 115 signatures.
On September 4, the table for collecting signatures and an information stand of the Radical Party and the ARA was placed in Triumfal'naya square. Nikolai Khramov, Russian co-ordinator of the RP and ARA Secertary, spoke at the meeting. During the action in Triumfal'naya square radicals collected 484 signatures under the petition "The third millennium without conscription slavery" and 140.8 roubles of contributions. Sergei Kirienko, leader of "Novaya sila" ("The new force") movement, also signed the radical petition in Tirumfal'naya square.
On September 5, the RP and the ARA palced their stand in Neskuchnyi garden, at the exposition "Parallel Press". They collected 224 signatures under the petition for the abolition of conscription and 85.5 roubles of contributions.
