Moscow, 22 june 2000 - On the anniversary of the entry of the Soviet Union into the WWII - on Thursday, 22 June - members of the Radical Party and the Antimilitarist Radical Association (ARA) will take part in the manifestation organized by the Democratic Union of Valeria Novodvorskaya "to stop the Chechen war, for peaceful coexistence of Russia and Chechnya, against the second front of the Chechen war opened by the power in respect of freedom of speech and the media".

The manifestation will take place at Pushkinskaya square in Moscow, near the monument to A.S.Pushkin. It will begin at 18:00. The secretary of the ARA and the coordinator of the Radical Party in Russia Nikolay Khramov will speak at the meeting.
