Moscow government's top official Alexandr Musykantsky has just declared on Russian TV channel ORT: "It's time to cease talks on freedom of residence, on the illegality of the system of registration of non-residents in Moscow - we live in the capital of a belligerent state".

Statement of Nikolay Khramov:

"The declaration of former democrate Alexandr Musykantsky which has been just made, perfectly exposes who is going to take a rapid advantage of such a "convenient" and "well-timed" blust in Moscow: those who intend under the flag of the "fight against the terrorism" to finish the consolidation of a police state, to bury once and for all civil rights and liberties we gained since 1991, to pass completely to a KGB-style police militarist dictatorship mixed up in racism and xenophobia. Very hard time for freedom and human rights champions is coming. It depends on us whether we can stand our ground and not permit relapse of totalitarism".
