"BETTER A GRAVE IN COLOMBIA THAN A HIDE-OUT IN THE UNITED STATES"

THE EXTRADITEABLES IN COLOMBIA

1) We have aknowledged the patriotic message contained in the document signed by Mons. Mario Revollo Bravo, and by the renowned former Presidents of the Republic Alfonso Lňpez, Julio César Turbay y Misael Patrana, and by the President of the Patriotic Union, Diego Montana Cuellas.

2) To answer such dignified plans, we once again express our sincere wish of peace, which is well known.

3) We entirely share the opinion expressed by the above mentioned personnalities on the subject of the survival of the State and of the elected democratic government concerning the organizations and the people who, like us, live at borders of law and fight against the institutions and the very existence of the present judicial order.

4) Our actions being inspired by the above mentioned ideals, we wish peace, serenity and democracy for our country and our people.

5) We aknowledge and accept victory from the State, the institutions and the legally established government. We will stop warfare and give up the goals of our battle for the sake of the higher interests of the country.

6) We submit to the current laws, in the hope of obtaining from government and from society the respect of our rights and the return to our families and to our communities.

7) To prove the degree of our attachment to the cause of peace, we will immediately surrender Mrs Patricia Echevarria and her daughter; other people that have been kidnapped will be released when the circumstances are suitable, though we wish to point out that we are not responsible for all the kidnapppings that are ascribed to us.

8) We offer our help in negotiating with the other groups of emerald dealers and with groups of killers, and this with the only purpose of stopping the violence that (line not readable)

9) As soon as we receive constitutional and legal guarantees, we will stop providing drugs and will surrender weapons, explosives, laboratories, hostages, illegal connections and any other element involved with our activities.

10) There will be no further bomb attacks in the whole of the national territory, and we have asked for all executions of political leaders, government and union executives, judicial officers, journalists and militaries to stop.

11) The main goal of our battle has been and will always be our family, our freedom, our people, our life and our rights concerning our nationality and our country.
