UPDATE EMMA BONINO SPEECH.

In her speech, Emma Bonino, Secretary of the Transnational Radical Party and deputy Speaker of the italian Chamber of Deputies, firmly stessed the Antiprohibitionist position wich stands for legalization as time only plausible approach to the drug issue.

" If is Prohibitionism works", she asked, " why don't Governements introduce it for alcohol or tobacco which are equally harmful?" Emma Bonino also underlined the importance of an increased cooperation and sinergy of efforts at global level.

In this connection she illustrated the Transnational Radical Party's project for a campaign and a worldwide mobilization, that will be launched in the next weeks, having as objective the repeal or modification of the International Conventions and treaties.
